ST37 steel is a German carbon structural steel material grade, which consists of many small grades, such as: St37-2, St37-3U, St37-3n, RSt-2, USt37-2, etc. ST37 steel corresponds to the Chinese brand Q235B steel.
A106 steel is an American standard material, including three grades of A, B, and C. Among them, A106A steel is similar to domestic 20# steel; A106B steel is similar to domestic Q235 steel; A106C is similar to Q345 steel.

◆ Characteristic
Q235 hot rolled coil, also known as A3 hot-rolled coil, is a common carbon structural steel. Q represents the yield limit of this hot-rolled coil, and the latter 235 refers to the yield value of this hot-rolled coil, which is about 235MPa. However, the yield value of Q235 carbon steel coil will decrease with the increase of thickness. Due to the moderate carbon content, good overall performance, and good matching of strength, plasticity and welding performance, it is the most widely used.
◆ Industry&Application
1. Widely used in construction and engineering structures. It is used to make steel bars or build factory building frames, high-voltage transmission towers, bridges, vehicles, boilers, containers, ships, etc., and is also widely used as mechanical parts that do not require high performance. Grade C and D steels of Q253 carbon steel can also be used as some professional steels.
2. Q235 steel can be used for various mold handles and other unimportant mold parts.
3. Q235 steel is used as the punch material, which can be used directly without tempering after deep fire, with a hardness of 36-40HRC, which solves the phenomenon that the punch breaks during use.
